Record sounds directly into the train
Hold the red button until you hear a beep and then record your sounds into the engine. As the train passes through the orange play tunnel, the train will playback the recorded sound.
Control the play with Action Tunnels
Move the Action Tunnels around your train set to control the play by creating different responses from the Smart Tech Sound train. Play sounds, change directions, slow down, take a wash or visit the repair shop.
Includes classic battery-powered functions
The Smart Tech Sound engine also includes classic battery-powered functions, bright headlights and a large wheel for extra grip. Use the forward, stop, and reverse buttons on the top of the train to navigate your BRIO World.
Take full control of the train with the Smart Tech Sound app
There's loads of additional functionality when you link the Smart Tech Sound engine to the Smart Tech Sound App. Drive the engine, change the colour of the headlights, change the sound environment, record custom sounds and more.

Each Smart Tech Sound accessory offers a unique train play experience. Fix the train or get it cleaned at the Train Service Station, go off road with the Waterfall Tunnel or brave entering the Spooky Train Station.
